Quickstart

The quickstart is the shortest path for bringing one resource into a workspace and verifying an assigned session. Detailed installation and release decisions stay on their canonical pages.

Prerequisites

• A workspace and a role allowed to manage resources.
• A Windows Agent, gateway/private-network, or already reachable agentless resource.
• The protocol and person who will open the session.

Steps

1. Choose and complete the resource’s path in connect a machine: Windows Agent or gateway/agentless access.
2. Verify release and protocol alignment with compatibility and versions.
3. Check resource readiness and workspace scope. For agentless resources, reachability and gateway ownership remain with the deployment.
4. Verify identity-provider integration and the first workspace role, then create the assignment linking person, resource, responsibility, and duration.
5. Follow start a session.
6. Close the session and complete close resource access.

The expected result is a ready connection path, a controlled work surface visible to the assigned person, and reviewable closure information. For a first trial, complete the checks in pilot responsibilities and compatibility checks.
