Escalate a support ticket
Raise a ticket for deeper review when the first support pass is not enough.
Escalation asks for a deeper review of the same ticket when the first support pass is not enough. It is different from priority: priority describes urgency, while escalation describes the depth of investigation needed.
Prerequisites
The ticket is open and still handled at workspace level. The escalation option is available to a workspace owner, administrator, or role authorized for escalation.
When to escalate
- The same error continues with reproducible evidence.
- Access or session behavior needs security and operational record review together.
- The first troubleshooting steps did not isolate the cause.
Prepare the ticket
- Add new findings and reproduction steps to the open ticket.
- Confirm the workspace, resource, and relevant session time.
- Share safe record context without secrets or raw session data.
- Use the escalation action available to the authorized support flow.
Follow the new review state on the same ticket and verify the outcome when it is visible.
Result
The ticket remains one record with the new review context and a visible support-flow state.
