Member status controls whether an account can be used in a workspace and what happens to its current resource access. Choose the narrowest change that matches the operational need.

Prerequisites

A workspace management role that can manage member status is required.

Change status

  1. Verify the member and workspace in Users.
  2. Use Suspend for a temporary stop. Self-suspend, self-remove, and self resource-access reset are guarded.
  3. Use Reactivate when the member returns.
  4. Confirm Remove when the membership is no longer needed.

Reset resource access

Resetting resource access deactivates the member’s resource assignments without removing membership. For the detailed closure flow, see close resource access.

Check the result

Review active sessions, timed access, and resource assignments after the change. Removal and suspension are different outcomes; use the least disruptive action that fits.

Reactivation is a separate action that makes a suspended member usable again.
